Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) reported a net profit of SAR 32.6 million for the 2015 fiscal year, marking a year-on-year (YOY) increase of 36.4 percent. The company attributed the profit rise to lower cost of sales, general and administration expenses.

The company’s fourth-quarter net profit surged 211 percent YOY to SAR 20.2 million, thanks to improved sales along with lower selling and distribution expenses. Profit for the period rose 778 percent compared to the previous quarter.
