SIIG’s net profit down 35% in 9M 2019

Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) reported a net profit of SAR 544 million for the first nine months of 2019, a 35.2 percent year-on-year (YoY) drop compared to the same period last year.

 

The decline in profit was attributed to the lower share of profit of the projects managed jointly (SCP, JCP) as a result of a decrease in the prices of the product, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

SIIG’s share of profit of the National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem) has also decreased in the current period.

The company posted a net profit of SAR 160 million for Q3 2019, a 49.8 percent YoY drop due to lower share of profit of the projects managed jointly (SCP, JCP).

 

SIIG’s share of profit of the National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem) has also decreased in the current quarter.

 

When compared to the previous quarter, the net profit for Q3 fell 21.95 percent on lower share of profit of the projects managed jointly (SCP, JCP) and of the National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem), in addition to lower other income.
