Maaden’s net profit drops 38% in nine-months 2015

Saudi Arabian Mining Co (Maaden) reported a net profit of SAR 610.8 million for the first nine months of 2015, a 38 percent decline compared to the same period last year mainly attributed to lower prices of products and higher costs of sales and logistics. An increase in net loss of a jointly controlled entity and the shut down of its ammonia plant also contributed to the drop.
