Alandalus Property’s net profit halved in 9M 2018

Alandalus Property Co.’s net profit more than halved year-on-year (YoY) in the first nine months of 2018 to SAR 45.3 million due to a change of ownership interests in both Al-Andalus mall and Staybridge hotel, which are owned by Alahli REIT 1 fund.

 

The company also attributed declined profit to lower operating profit driven by higher general and administrative expenses, higher provisions of impairment losses and lower income from associates.

 

Moreover, gains from land were used as in-kind shares in a new associate, during the same period last year.

When compared to the previous quarter, Q3 net profit rose 3.8 percent.
