Steel Pipe’s profit down 79% in 9M 2017

Saudi Steel Pipe Co. reported a net profit of SAR 3.4 million for the first nine months of 2017, a 79 percent year-on-year (YoY) decline as it realized an impairment loss of SAR 23.6 million representing the balance of an investment (Chemical Development Co.) and a decrease in net income of an associate company (Global Pipe Co.).
