Al Salem Johnson Controls (YORK) signed an agreement with the Technical and Vocational Training Cooperation in the Makkah Region to train 80 students from Jeddah College of Technology, it said in a statement on Wednesday.
The company’s SAR 6-million investment in the training program is in line with Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020.
“The MoU is within the framework of our contribution to uplift the Saudi talent within the HVAC-R sector,” said York CEO Mohanad Alshaikh.
The company will offer incentives for college graduates such as employment after completion of comprehensive evaluation, he said.
