Riyadh’s Southern Ring Road to be closed for six days

Riyadh Traffic Department said on Tuesday that the Southern Ring Road in the Saudi capital will be closed to traffic in both directions ahead of Al Hayer/ Al Batha Road Bridge, from Exit 21 for six consecutive days.

 

The temporary closure started on Tuesday, the department added in a statement.

 

The road will ensure smooth traffic movement after the opening of the crossroads below the bridge.

 

Meanwhile, the traffic unit added that maintenance works on King Fahad Road were completed on Monday and vehicles can now use the road.

 

The King Fahad Road was recently closed for 11 days, to finalize Riyadh Rail bridge connections.
