Prince Saud bin Mishal, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, inaugurated a massive 11-million-square-meter (sqm) food cluster in Jeddah's second and third industrial cities.

During the event, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) announced that the project was enlisted in the "Guinness World Records" as the largest global food cluster in terms of area. This achievement aligns with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to enhance food security and develop the food industry.

The project comprises 124 manufacturing plants with investments amounting to SAR 4.4 billion, with an annual production capacity of 4 million tons. It currently provides 7,000 jobs and aims to attract investments worth SAR 20 billion, support exports by SAR 8 billion, and create 43,000 additional jobs over the next decade.
