The International Monetary Fund (IMF) revised its growth forecast for the Saudi economy upwards by about 0.5% to 6% for 2025, from 5.5% its forecast last January.

 

In its "Global Economic Outlook" report, the Fund expected the Kingdom’s economy to grow by 2.6% in 2024, down 0.1%, compared to its previous forecast of 2.7% in January.

 

The IMF also stated that the forecasts of the basic scenario indicate that the global economy will continue to grow by 3.2% in 2024 and 2025, mirroring the pace seen in 2023.
