Loans to private, non-financial govt entities rise to SAR 2.6T in October

Saudi bank loans granted to non-financial government institutions and the private sector rose 10% in October to SAR 2.64 trillion, compared to nearly SAR 2.40 trillion in the same month last year, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

Private sector lending also increased by 9% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.49 trillion for the same month. 

 

Meanwhile, loans granted to public non-financial institutions jumped 20% YoY to about SAR 145.7 billion by the end of October.
