Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig Al-Rabiah, announced the timeline for next Hajj season, which is an important shift that will contribute to early Hajj preparations.

 

He added that the preliminary arrangements document was handed over to the offices of Hajj affairs, including the quota of each country.

 

The minister urged countries to prepare for next Hajj season from now, to ensure the provision of distinguished services.

 

On Sept. 16, 2023, the preparatory meetings will begin and the list of licensed companies will be announced. On Nov. 4, the ministry will offer Hajj service packages.

 

On Jan. 8, 2024, the Exhibition for Hajj and Umrah Services will be launched under the patronage of King Salman, which will serve as an integrated exhibition of all Hajj services to be provided. On Feb. 25, housing and Mashaer contracts will be completed.

 

In addition, visas will be issued from March 1, 2024 until April 29, 2024. Then, the Kingdom will start receiving pilgrims as of May 9.

 

The new mechanism aims to facilitate better preparations for Hajj, as well as supporting the companies providing the service, the minister said.
