Agreement signing
OXAGON signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) with the aim of accelerating the transformation of Saudi Arabia into a leading industrial power.
The deal will lead to the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) methods, through the use of the latest technologies. This includes artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of things (IoT) and robotics in OXAGON, which will be home to NEOM’s industrial complexes, according to a tweet.
Under the agreement, a center for training national cadres will be set up. It will work on enhancing their learning skills, developing talents and enabling institutions to adopt the 4IR approach, in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
Vishal Wanshu, CEO of OXAGON, said, “OXAGON aims to support NIDLP aspirations to create an ecosystem to develop the talent and infrastructure needed to accelerate the industrial transformation taking place in the Kingdom.”
