Riyadh has a good chance to win World Expo 2030, Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported, citing Fahd Al-Rasheed, CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC).
He added that the event is expected to attract 40 million visitors in case of being organized by Riyadh.
In September 2022, RCRC submitted a detailed plan for the 2030 event, according to data available with Argaam.
Paris-based Bureau International des Expositions announced that four states submitted their official bids to host “World Expo 2030”. Saudi Arabia came on top of these countries, followed by South Korea, Italy and Ukraine.
