solutions seals SAR 138 mln contract with stc to provide bulk-SMS service

Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co. (solutions) signed today, Dec. 8, a contract with stc to provide and link the bulk-SMS service to the latter’s short message service center (SMSC), and offer bulk-SMS services to solutions customers.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, solutions said the contract, which is valid for 12 months, is valued at SAR 138 million. The related financial impact is expected to show on solutions’ financial statements from Q4 2022.

 

Being a majority shareholder in solutions with a 79% stake, stc is a related party, the statement added.
