Diriyah to witness projects worth $50 bln as of 2022: official

Diriyah will witness new projects worth $50 billion starting from 2022, MBC TV Channel reported, citing Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of Diriyah Gate Development Authority.

 

He added the masterplans will be announced soon.

 

The first phase of the projects will be announced in 2022, which will include the Bujairi area, the CEO said, adding that local and global restaurants will be developed, in addition to running and cycling tracks.

 

In cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, the authority plans to attract tourists from all over the world to visit Diriyah and UNESCO sites, as well as enjoy the Red Sea beaches in the Kingdom.
