Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Wednesday.
1) Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores Co. (Abo Moati) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 1.9 million for the first quarter ending June 2021.
2) The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (MEDGULF) reported a net profit of SAR 13.4 million for the first half of 2021, down 51% year-on-year (YoY).
3) Saudi Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 205.8 million for the first half of 2021, declining by 8% YoY.
4) Methanol Chemicals Co.’s (Chemanol) board of directors recommended increasing the company’s capital through rights issue of SAR 550.50 million.
5) Ataa Educational Co. completed all procedures to acquire and transfer the entire shares of Arabian Education and Training Group Holding Co. from selling shareholders.
6) Brent crude on Wednesday declined 28 cents to reach $70.35 per barrel. WTI crude also decreased 32 cents to reach $67.9/bbl.
