Saudi Arabia recorded 101 COVID-19 cases today, Jan. 2, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 362,979, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 182, raising the total number of recovered cases to 354,263 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 2,477, of which 354 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported nine new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,239.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 43, followed by Makkah (24), Eastern Province (14), and Al Qassim (4).

 

A total of 27,169 new laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of tests conducted in the Kingdom to 11.07 million.
