The Saudi Ministry of Health conducted COVID-19 tests for 34 passengers arriving at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh from The Netherlands. The necessary preventive measures were taken at the airport, and all travelers had negative test results.
The move comes as part of the proactive precautionary measures adopted by the ministry to detect and combat the mutated COVID-19.
The ministry is contacting 1,131 travelers arriving at the Kingdom starting from Dec. 8, who earlier showed negative PCR test results. It directed those travelers to conduct the test and abide by self-isolation.
The ministry urged all people to get their information from the official sources.
