The Q1 2020 results reflect a positive indicator for Saudi Arabia’s effort in boosting localization rates, Al Jazirah newspaper reported, citing an official source at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
He clarified that the ministry is seeking to prepare new graduates to join the labor market, in addition to providing suitable job opportunities for those looking for jobs.
On the other hand, the women’s economic participation index rose in the labor market by 25.9%. Similarly, the index of their share in the labor market expanded to 27.5%, following the decrease in unemployment rates among females.
The ministry’s official further affirmed that the flexible work program aims to contribute in raising the participation rates of national cadres in the labor market, indicating the program’s objective is to create new types of jobs, as well as increase job seekers’ chances to bag flexible opportunities.
Additionally, the program enables job seekers to engage in the labor market, and hone their skills and experience in preparation to shift them into permanent employees.
