9 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) Oil giant Saudi Aramco discovered two new oil and gas fields in the northern parts of the Kingdom.

 

2) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) launched the derivatives market yesterday, Aug. 30, 2020.

 

3) National Gas and Industrialization Co.’s (GASCO) board of directors approved not to proceed with setting up a new firm in the field of gas extension projects.

 

4) Abdulmohsen Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development’s (Alhokair Group) revenues declined by SAR 224.5 million year-on-year (YoY) in the four months starting March until June 2020.

 

5) Arabian Centres Co. launched three new cineplexes at its shopping centers in August.

 

6) Northern Region Cement Co.’s board of directors recommended a 2.5% cash dividend for the first half of 2020, at SAR 0.25 per share, amounting to SAR 45 million.

 

7) Alinma Investment distributed cash dividend to Alinma Saudi Government Sukuk ETF Fund – Short Maturity unit holders for the period since inception to Aug. 31, 2020, at SAR 1.44 per unit, or 1.44% initial price per unit.

 

8) Leejam Sports Co. (Fitness Time) opened a new ladies fitness center in Riyadh.

 

9) Brent crude on Monday gained 29 cents to reach $46.10 per barrel. WTI Crude also increased 17 cents to reach $43.14/bbl.
