Saudi Arabia's King Salman said on Wednesday the Kingdom is on track to add more achievements under Vision 2030, which mainly focuses on economic and sustainable growth in all sectors.
“We thank God for the huge achievements attained by the Kingdom in the last decades,” King Salman added.
“Our visits to several regions across the Kingdom last year, come as part of our ongoing efforts to discuss Saudi citizens needs, and launch development projects in these regions,” the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques noted.
The Kingdom was always keen to proceed with its planned development projects and create new economic fields, as part of its endeavors to diversify economic resources and invest in economic variables to achieve domestic gains for its citizens.
Saudi Arabia will maintain its efforts to provide job opportunities for its locals and cut unemployment rate, having made great progress in this regard.
In addition, the Kingdom will continue to empower the Saudi women and increase their participation in the public and private sectors. Saudi woman’s participation rose from 19.4% by the end of 2017 to 23.2% in H2 2019.
For the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurships, “Saudi Arabia has witnessed this year a 13% rise in the number of SMEs and the related credit growth. We’ll continue to encourage SMEs to raise their share in government procurements,” King Salman said.
The Kingdom maintained its development though it was attacked by 286 cruise missiles and 289 drones, he concluded.
