Philips has introduced three healthcare technology projects in partnership with the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, it said in a statement on Thursday.
The three digital healthcare projects aim to enhance patients’ access and experience of care, improve the overall health of the Saudi population, create a stress-free environment for health professionals through time efficiency, and reduce the per-capita cost of healthcare.
The projects include an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled Radiology Operations Command Center. The Ministry of Health and Philips are collaborating to optimize radiology operations and resources by establishing a Radiology Operations Command Center (ROCC) using the latter’s design.
The second project is the eHIA “eHealth ICU Advocate” Tele-ICU Pilot, launched in collaboration with Saudi Telecom Company (STC). Philips will deploy its Tele-ICU platform - enabled by latest technology innovations in Adaptive Intelligence and Predictive Analytics.
The third project is the Population Health Management, launched in collaboration with Philips VitalHealth platform and Lean Business Services prompting E-Health in Saudi Arabia. This program will enable the Ministry of Health to screen 500,000 patients diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes, thereby increasing their overall stability.
