Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Co., a manufacturer of woven carpets and blankets, reported a net profit of SAR 126.9 million for the first nine months of 2015, a 25 percent drop from the same period last year driven by lower sales, as well as higher expenses, depreciation, financial costs, and zakat payment.

The company reported a net profit of SAR 27.6 million in Q3 this year, 40 percent lower when compared to the same quarter last year due to a decline in sales, and higher costs of sales. Its quarter-on-quarter result fell 49 percent from SAR 54.27 million from Q2-2015 also on the back of lower sales and high costs.
