Northern Cement net profit up 7% to SAR 75.7 mln in 9M 2022, Q3 at SAR 27.6 mln

Northern Region Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 75.7 million in the first nine months of 2022, a 7% increase compared to SAR 70.9 million in the year-ago period. 

 

The profit hike was driven by higher external investment returns despite a surge in financing cost.

In Q3 2022, the net profit after Zakat and tax saw a 51% increase to SAR 27.6 million, from SAR 18.4 million in the year before.

 

Sequentially, the cement producer’s net profit rose 12% from SAR 24.7 million in Q2 2022.
