Aslak net profit down 26% to SAR 46.2 mln in 2021

United Wire Factories Co. (Aslak) reported an estimated net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 46.2 million for 2021, a drop of 26% from SAR 62.2 million a year earlier.

 

The lower profit was attributed to a decrease in gross profit margins despite higher sales volumes and the reversal of expenses versus lower trade receivables and inventory amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
