Saudi Ceramic Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 89.3 million for the first half of 2022, a decline of 33.4%, compared to SAR 134.1 million in the previous year.

The profit drop was triggered by lower sales volume, an increase in costs of some production inputs, and the impact of the temporary halt of operations in some factories on gas supplies.

 

The tile producer reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 37.97 million in Q2 2022, a slump of 40%, compared to SAR 63.33 million in the same period last year, driven by decreased sales and higher costs of some production inputs.
