9 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Thursday.

 

1) Arabian Centres Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 804.1 million for fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, up by 2.2 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

2) MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Co.’s shareholders have elected members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term starting on Aug. 29, 2019.

 

3) Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Company will commence the remote e-voting on the items of the company’s extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM), which will be held on June 30, 2019.

 

4) Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Co.’s (SAICO) shareholders have elected members of the board of directors for the new three-year term started on June 25, 2019.

 

5) Dallah Healthcare Co. will open on July 1 nominations for membership on the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term starting Oct. 21, 2019.

 

6) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) approved a request from the Ministry of Finance to list debt instruments worth SAR 2.7 billion starting June 27.

 

7) Al Moammar Information Systems Co.’s (MIS) shareholders are set to elect board members for the upcoming three-year term on July 18, 2019.

 

8) Bawan Co.’s project in Algeria is expected to begin commercial operations in Q4 2019 instead of Q2 2019 amid economic slowdown in the North African country. 

 

9) Brent crude on Thursday declined 27 cents to reach $66.22/bbl, while WTI crude also decreased 29 cents to reach $59.09/bbl.
