The Human Resources Development Fund’s (Hadaf) National Labor Observatory has added three new indicators for the Saudi labor market, including the social insurance subscribers and employment of university graduates in the private sector, as well as enterprises under ‘Nitaqat’ program.
The private sector’s social insurance subscribers’ indicator includes employed subscribers, the change in the number of subscribers, their distribution in terms of economic sector and reason of quitting, new Saudi subscribers, excluded employees from the social insurance, as well as the nationalization rates in the private sector’s social insurance.
The indicator of university graduates’ employment in the private sector includes their distribution and the average period from graduation till employment.
The indicator related to enterprises under the Nitaqat program include the committed and uncommitted private sector firms to the nationalization policies, company sizes, and the female employment rate to total Saudi employment and their distribution.
According to data compiled by Argaam, the National Labor Observatory in January 2019 approved 21 labor indicators, aiming at providing accurate data and analysis, as well as building a strong network of experts capable of resolving labor market challenges.
