Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has launched its first ever flight from Jeddah to Marrakech, the carrier said in a statement.
The service will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and becomes the airline’s second destination in Morocco, after Casablanca.
“The flight seeks to strengthen air traffic between the two countries and will encourage tourism and will serve as a platform to inaugurate other lines to other tourism cities across Morocco,” Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ghurairi, Saudi Ambassador to Morocco, said at a ceremony to mark the inaugural flight.
