Saudi Railways wins contract to operate, maintain Hajj metro

Saudi Arabia’s cabinet has awarded the Saudi Railways Co. (SAR) a contract to operate, and provide maintenance services for Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro line, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

No further details were mentioned about the deal value.

 

The metro line extends almost 20 kilometers with nine stations, and the trains are about 300 meters in length.
