Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Labor and Social Development has employed more than 25,000 locals in the construction sector during Q1 2019, the ministry said in a Tweet.
Average salaries in the sector increased nearly 18 percent year-on-year in the same period.
The Ministry of Labor had signed an agreement with the Ministry of Housing and the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) in January to employ 80,000 citizens in the construction and real estate sector, Argaam reported.
