Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Co.’s (SPIMACO) board of directors has named Mohammed S. Al-Sultan as acting chief executive for a six-month period starting from May 4, 2019, the company said in a bourse statement.
The step followed the resignation of Fahad Bin Ibrahim Al Khalaf for personal reasons.
Al Khalaf’s resignation was accepted and he was appointed as a board consultant.
Al Sultan is currently vice CEO for business development and pharmaceutical legislation. He has held several senior positions including strategic planning manager of SPIMACO, CEO of Saudi Ajal Health Services Co. and CEO of Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, the statement added.
