Over 6,000 Saudis were hired in the retail sector during the first two months of 2019, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development said on its Twitter account.
The Saudization, or localization, rate is growing in the retail sector, the tweet added.
According to data compiled by Argaam, the labor minister recently said that 27,000 Saudis were employed across all sectors during the first two months of 2019, as nationalization agreements with government agencies and the private sector kick in.
