9 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) Advanced Petrochemical Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 162 million for the first quarter of 2019, a 66.07 percent year-on-year jump on a 38.9 percent rise in sales volumes.

 

2) Saudi Arabian Fertilizers Co.’s (SAFCO) shareholders have approved a 15 percent cash dividend for the second half of 2018, during the general assembly meeting held on Sunday.

 

3) National Petrochemical Co.’s (Petrochem) shareholders have approved a 5 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year of 2018, during the general assembly meeting held on Sunday.

 

4) United Wire Factories Co. (Aslak) reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 10.1 million for the first quarter of 2019, up 31.2 percent year-on-year (YoY) on higher sales and lower administrative and general expenses.

 

5) The Securities Depository Center (Edaa) deposited the additional shares after capital hike into the investors’ accounts on April 8, 2019, it said in a bourse statement.

 

6) Almarai Co.’s shareholders have approved a board recommendation to distribute an 8.5 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year of 2018, during the general assembly meeting held on April 7, 2019.

 

7) Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Co. (AIIC) was awarded a contract worth SAR 19.9 million by the General Presidency of Haram Masjid and Nabawi Masjid Affairs.

 

8) Arabian Cement Co.’s shareholders have approved a 10 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year of 2018, during the extraordinary general assembly meeting that held on April 7, 2019.

 

9) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 8 cents to reach $71.18/bbl, while WTI crude also rose 13 cents to $64.53/bbl.
