The total workers in Saudi internal trade rose by 8,228 quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) in Q3 2018 to 1.69 million, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.
Saudis working in the sector amounted to 438,360 in Q3, accounting for 26 percent of the workforce, a 1 percent QoQ increase.
Non-Saudis working in internal trade stood at 1.26 million, representing 74 percent of the total sector workers in Q3 2018.
