6 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank has signed a deal to sell a 4.9 percent stake in Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) for SAR 31.50 per share, totaling SAR 1.86 billion (or EUR 440 million) to a Ripplewood-led consortium.

 

2) Leejam Sports Co., which owns and runs Fitness Time Gyms, has opened a new branch in Makkah with a total investment of SAR 16 million.

 

3) Takween Advanced Industries Co. has cut its net loss after zakat and tax by 76.4 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 39.7 million in fiscal year 2018 on higher sales, and lower general and administrative expenses.

 

4) Aljazira Mawten REIT Fund reported a net profit of SAR 368,754 for fiscal year 2018, fund manager Aljazira Capital said in a bourse statement on Sunday.

 

5) Shareholders of Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) on Apr. 9 will discuss the board's recommendation on paying a 22 percent cash dividend, to be issued at SAR 2.2 per share for H2 2018.

 

6) The first tranche of Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inclusion in the FTSE and S&P DJI Emerging Markets indices is expected to start today.
