UAE-based petrochemicals company Borouge has awarded three contracts to TechnipFMC, Maire Tecnimont and WorleyParsons for the fourth phase of the Ruwais petrochemicals complex.
The mixed feed cracker will be the fourth cracker in the Borouge complex and will be the world’s largest with 1.8 million tons Ethylene output.
ADNOC and Borealis, the joint owners of Borogue, plan to finalize the downstream configuration within three months, following the FEED award.
