Etihad Aviation Group on Thursday said it has agreed with Airbus and Boeing to restructure a "large portion" of its orders.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline will take delivery of five Airbus A350-1000s and 26 A321neos along with six Boeing 777-9s over the coming years, it said in a statement.
It will also continue to take delivery of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, the airline said.
Etihad has received 28 of 71 Dreamliners it has ordered, according to Boeing's website.
"This will enable the airline to further progress its transformation and adjust to its new operating model," the group said in a statement.
Etihad has reached agreements with Airbus and Boeing not to disclose details of the order changes, the statement added.
