Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman on Wednesday chaired a “Tourism Talk” workshop in Diriyah’s Al-Turaif district, according to a statement published by state-owned SPA reported.
The workshop saw the participation of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, of which the Crown Prince is president, and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, focused on the aims and direction of the tourism sector in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The workshop was based on three main topics, which included an overview of the tourism industry globally and locally, the aspirations of the Kingdom’s tourism sector, and the partners involved in the implementation.
It included an analysis of the national opportunities in the tourism sector, including the enhancement of the Kingdom's global position in this sector, analysis of governance, sector strategy, legislation, standards and raising tourism awareness.
