Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Wednesday.
1) Arabian Pipes Co. announced that it has been awarded a contract worth SAR 229 million for supplying longitudinal submerged arc-welded (LSAW) pipes to Saudi Aramco.
2) Saudi Advanced Industries Co.’s (SAIC) 40 percent owned affiliate, Al Obaikan Glass Co., approved a capital hike to SAR 240 million from SAR 200 million.
3) Leejam Sports Co. (Leejam) opened a new outlet in Abha at a total cost of SAR 18 million, the company said in a bourse filing.
4) Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Company (Al-Khodari) renewed on Tuesday a SAR 345 million Islamic credit agreement with Alawwal Bank.
5) The Capital Market Authority (CMA), on Tuesday, approved Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Co.'s request to increase its capital from SAR 500 million to SAR 600 million through issuing one bonus share for every five existing shares.
6) Jarir Marketing Co. shareholders on Feb. 28 will discuss electing a new board of directors for the new three-year term starting as of March 9, 2019.
