Riyadh-based Ajlan Bin Abdulaziz Al Ajlan & Bros. has signed an agreement with China’s Hanergy to set up a new plant worth $1 billion (SAR 3.75 billion) for flexible solar panels and mix-use solar energy systems in Saudi Arabia.
The new facility will have a capacity of 1 gigawatt, Ajlan said in a statement, on the sidelines of launching the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).
