Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce and Investment has issued 76 steel and 41 cement export licenses so far, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing the ministry’s spokesperson Abdulrahman Al-Hussaini.
Meanwhile, six export requests are still under study, he said.
“The ministry issued five export licenses in January, bringing the total number of licenses to 112 by the end of 2018,” Al-Hussaini noted.
The issued licenses met all regulatory requirements set by the ministries of commerce, finance, industry and environment, he added.
