Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance has closed receiving investors requests for its domestic sukuk issuance (01-2019) and additional requests for issuance (09-2017) with the total value of SAR 7.095 billion, under the government’s riyal-denominated sukuk program, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing a ministry statement issued today.
Sukuk issuance (01-2019) was valued at SAR 5.37 billion, while re-opening issuance (09-2017) was valued at SAR 1.725 billion, it said.
According to data compiled by Argaam, the finance ministry’s debt management office established in July 2017 the government’s riyal-denominated sukuk program with unlimited period and value.
