State oil giant Saudi Aramco is likely to issue bonds in the international market, probably in the range of up to $10 billion, the Kingdom’s Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih said on Sunday.
Speaking at the Atlantic Council Energy Forum in Abu Dhabi, Al-Falih did not specify the currency of the planned issuance.
The bonds - which is considered Aramco's debut in the international debt markets – will be issued in the second quarter of 2019, he had said last week.
