Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Labor and Social Development has launched a new initiative to extend the validity of new work visas to two years instead of one with no additional fees.
The move aims to facilitate the related procedures for private sector firms that seek to issue new work visas, the ministry said in a statement.
Private entities can cancel previous visas and issue new ones under the applicable requirements.
In October 2017, the Kingdom reduced the validity of work visas issued to the private sector to one year from two years, Argaam earlier reported.
