Anaam International Holding Co.'s board of directors approved the appointment of Mohammed Saleh Attar (independent member) as the new chairman for the current three-year term, ending on Nov. 27, 2021 with immediate effect.
The appointment came after former board chairman Prince Nawaf bin Turki Al Saud tendered his resignation on Dec. 31, 2018 for personal reasons, the company said in a bourse statement on Monday.
Prince Nawaf has maintained his position as a board member, since Jan. 6.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Attar resigned from his position as a member of the audit committee for personal reasons on Jan. 6.
Anaam's board named Ahmed Tarek Mourad (independent member) as a new member of the audit committee, effective Jan. 6.
The remuneration and nominations committee was also formed. Waleed Jamil Qattan (independent member) was named the committee chairperson, the statement added.
