Chinese tech giant Huawei opened its first flagship store in Saudi Arabia, the company said in a statement.
The store is also Huawei’s largest in the Middle East and Africa, the statement added.
“The new opening, which will be run by highly-qualified nationals, will provide around 100 job opportunities. Also, we will invest more than $6 million in the latest retail system in the Kingdom over the next five years,” Bill Yu, vice president of Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia, said.
In 2016, Huawei became the first Chinese company to be granted a 100 percent ownership in Saudi Arabia.
