Aseer Trading names new board chairman

Aseer Trading, Tourism & Manufacturing Co.’s board of directors on Dec. 28 approved the appointment of Abdullah Al-Howaish as new managing director, effective Jan. 1, 2019.
 

The new appointment came after former managing director Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al Ruwaitie tendered his resignation, the company said in a bourse statement on Sunday.

 

Al Ruwaitie was named as new board chairman of Saudi Research and Marketing Group’s (SRMG), effective Dec. 29, 2018, in place of Ghassan Al-Shibl, who was appointed by Saudi King Salman as the new head of the Local Content and Government Procurement Commission.
