Saudi Arabia's King Salman on Thursday has announced a Cabinet reshuffle.
King Salman named former Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf as Foreign Minister.
Adel al-Jubeir, was named as State Minister for Foreign Affairs.
The Saudi Ministers of Finance, Energy and Economy retained their posts.
Majid Al Qasabi was appointed as Acting Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs
Prince Abdullah Bin Bandar was appointed as the Minister of Saudi National Guards.
Meanwhile, the Saudi King ordered restructuring of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Saudi media figure, Turki Al-Shabanah was named as the Kingdom's Minister of Culture and Information.
Hamad Alsheikh was named the new Minister of Education.
Turki Al-Sheikh was appointed as Head of the General Entertainment Authority.
The Saudi Minister of Sports, Turki Al-Sheikh, was relieved from his position. Abdul Aziz bin Turki Al-Faisal was named the head of the General Sport Authority.
Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz was named as new Governor of Asir Region, replacing Prince Faisal bin Khalid.
Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been appointed as the Prince of Al-Jouf region with the rank of minister in place of Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz who has been relieved of his position.
Badr bin Sultan was named the deputy governor of Makkah Region.
Prince bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been appointed as an advisor to the Royal Court with the rank of minister.
Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi's Ambassador to UK has also been relieved from his position.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also ordered the formation of Saudi Arabia's new space authority and named Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, the former President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, as its chairman.
The Saudi King has also ordered the formation of a new political and security council. The general authority for exhibitions and conference will be also set up and chaired by Majid Al-Qasabi.
A new authority for the local content and government procurement will be established, with Ghassan Al-Shebl as its chairman. The new authority's board of directors will be appointed later on under a royal decree.
