Fawaz Alhokair appoints new CEO

Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co.’s board of directors appointed on Dec. 20 Marwan Aziz Mokarzel as the new Chief Executive Officer, with effect starting from Jan. 8, 2019, the retailer said in a statement to Tadawul on Sunday.

 

The new CEO has vast experience in the retail business and over 15 years of managerial positions in major Middle Eastern retailers.

 

According to data compiled by Argaam, the firm in September dismissed CEO Atul Singh and appointed Faisal Abdullah AlJedaie as an acting CEO.
